
Renting a vehicle while traveling should feel easy and reassuring — not stressful. However, many rental platforms overwhelm users with unclear pricing, hidden fees, and complicated booking steps.
This project focuses on designing a transparent, mobile-first rental booking experience that helps travelers confidently select a vehicle, customize their ride, and complete payment with clarity.
The goal was simple:
Reduce friction, increase trust, and make booking feel effortless.

Although renting a vehicle seems simple, the booking journey often creates hesitation before payment.
Users commonly face:
Confusion between per-day and total pricing
Unclear add-on calculations
Overwhelming information on small screens
Anxiety during the final review step
Additionally, too many steps or repetitive information can slow down momentum and increase drop-off rates.
The challenge was to balance completeness (policies, requirements, pricing transparency) with simplicity — without overwhelming users.




We redesigned the rental flow around psychological commitment:
Decision → Customization → Identity → Review → Payment.
Key improvements include:
Clear, structured price breakdown with duration visibility
Separation between booking information and monetary details
Minimal required fields to reduce form friction
Progressive disclosure for policies and FAQs
Strong visual hierarchy on the summary page to reinforce trust
The result is a booking experience that feels predictable, transparent, and reassuring — helping users move confidently toward payment.
